It is not a complete map of Victorian cultural groups and is not suitable for use in Native Title or other land claims. The locations of cultural groups are based on information drawn from the map Aboriginal Languages of Victoria produced in 2006 by the Victorian Aboriginal Corporation for Languages (www.vaclang.org.au).
