This Garrett portable steam engine was made in England in 1923. It was used by the State Rivers and Water Supply Commission in the construction of the Rocklands Dam on the Glenleg River in the early 1940s. The steam engine is part of the collection held by the Wheatlands Agricultural Museum located in Warracknabeal.
